Woe, woe and thrice woe

My life is blighted ... or my potatoes are anyway. Spent yesterday morning cutting off all the stems and trying to make sure there was no rubbish left on the earth ridges.

For future reference, the Golden Wonder staved off the blight the best, and Anya the worst. Although the Anya has never looked particularly happy. I dug up some of the Catriona and Desiree and the potatoes themselves seem all right at the moment. In fact, I made a very nice potato salad with some Catriona.

Now I just need a recipe for the courgette that got away and is now an 18 inch marrow!
