An unexpected Quaker

Since Quakers tend to be particularly individualistic (IMO) you can sometimes be surprised when you find out someone had a Quaker background such as Oliver Postgate, the creator of Bagpuss, Noggin the Nog and The Clangers, who has just died. I'd never realised the same firm was behind all of those wonderful creations, and it's a pleasure to be reminded of them.

Another moment of astonishment came when reading about the life of a Friend from the Hampshire Area meeting, which contained the classic quote: "not many Quakers are also members of the local chapter of the Hells Angels".
