Spring has sprung

And it's turned cold again! I did get to the allotment at the weekend, and tidied up a bit. I prepared the tubs I plant potatoes in, and planted some broad beans - along with a few radishes to show the planting lines.

I also bought 4 young pea plants at the Farmers Market and planted those, but I think with the change in the weather it was a bit early. I went down yesterday evening and swathed them in garden fleece, so I'm hoping their cocoon will help them get through the weekend.

I was planning to do a lot at the allotment over Easter but the weather isn't looking promising :-(
